I am

I am chilled like a cucumber
That is just waiting’ to be eaten’
By whoever has a hunger for my love

I am caring like a heartbeat that never stops beating
Always pumping blood through the veins
Reassuring the certainty of life

I am your friend,
No matter what,
I am always there to patch up the pains,
To hold together the pieces of a broken heart,
And to soak up the spills of an open wound

I am the love that never leaves your heart
Bounded like bird in a cage
Never wanting to be released,
Adjusted to your touch and smell

I am your lover that never stops loving,
Even if you push and pull at my vulnerable soul,
Even crushing every emotion that I have
Till I can’t feel any such sign of life
Still loving what you do and what makes you, you

I am the secret that holds the answer
The answer to us being one of the same
And the answer to our future
A future that will care about you,
About your feelings to whatever you feel,
And about what you want from me
In this world we call home

I am what I say I am
I am here to take care of you
Like a pool boy watching over the water
That he is entrusted to be its caretaker
Fulfilling the water’s desires
And keeping the beauty pure,
In return,
The glimmering of the water’s natural light
Reflex its satisfaction on me
Warming my body and soul
Giving me hope
In hope that the acceptance to my caring and consideration
Will return the same trust and love,
Love that I carelessly give
To receive a little notice or whatever you have to offer

I am what I am
Happiness is all I want
And all I want to give
Such as a vending machine that never ask for money
Just spill out every vitals it has that makes it unique

Because I am me
But together excludes the “I” and includes the “We”
Like we were never suppose to be apart
“We” combines our heart to make us one,
One of the same spirits,
And in my eyes and heart,
And hopefully yours
That is all we need to stay in peace
Like a pond that never breaks into ripples
And that will never be taken over by scum
