“ Mommy please don’t go.” Trying my hardest to convince her to stay. Like a mouse fighting a lion, it was a losing battle. No matter what I said it wasn’t going to change her mind and keep her around. Standing still while looking down at me with guilt in her eyes. More like sorrow. She was torn. My mom was stuck between a rock and a hard place. My mom knew that staying home with her kids will make us happy, but it wouldn’t for her. So she let out a big sign. And told me what I didn’t want to hear. “Sorry baby but I have to go.”
